NICO General Insurance on Tuesday met with managers from its largest broker, AON Malawi, to discuss their business relations and share information on industry issues.

NICO General chief executive officer, Eric Chapola, said 70 percent of its business comes through brokers and that AON accounts for 30 percent of that.

It is therefore important that the companies meet regularly to discuss how they are performing in the business, said Chapolu.

AON Malawi managing director, David Paul, said the meeting provided the two companies with an opportunity to find ways of improving their relations.
