NICO General has opened its first fully digital office and Service Centre at Chichiri Shopping Centre.

The new branch, which extends NICO General’s self-managed centres to 5, was opened on Friday, 19 May 2023, with the message of encouraging shoppers to insure while they shop.

NICO General Chief Executive Officer, Donbell Mandala, said the company values its customers and is continuously striving to give them the best service.

“The opening of this centre will offer both physical conveniences, because of the location, and convenience on time management, because of the extended operating hours and days which include Saturdays. The Centre also offers comfort as while we work on insuring your valuables, you can shop, enjoy coffee or a meal or meet a friend,” Mandala said.

He added that NICO General is adopting digital means of running its operations which will be convenient for customers.

“As we drive accessibility through physical means, our company is also working hard to ensure we bring digital solutions that allow our customers access most of our services from the comfort of their homes. We are currently working on the web portal, mobile app, and chatbot systems that will ensure just that”, he added.

The Guest of Honor at the opening event, Reserve Bank of Malawi Director, Administrative Services, Lanjes Sinoya, commended NICO General for always putting the customers first.

“It is always good to see corporations that put their clients first. With this new office, I believe that NICO General will be able to reach more clients. The digital platforms that Mr. Mandala has spoken of will definitely add to the convenience of the clients too”, Sinoya said.
